چکیده

Abstract Lighting is one of the crucial experiment factors in laboratory. Laboratory’s lighting system that follows Indonesian National Standard (SNI) can improve visual comfort during experiments. This research aims to determine effect strong column weak beam (SCWB) on illuminance laboratory according SNI 6197:2011. The results were expected provide recommendations for implementation SCWB so was more optimal. Digital Electronics Laboratory, E8 Building, Universitas Negeri Semarang had dimensions 12m x 7m 4m. measurement used general and task measurements 7062-2019. Illuminance data retrieval carried out two ways, namely observation simulation. Measurement laboratory’s by has been 10 days with repetition times. simulation Dialux 10. Based observations simulations, it be seen Laboratory did not follow 6197:2011 an 31.3 – 137 lux. modifying lamp layout applying TL LED (Philips Master LEDTube HO) distribution followed 6197: 2011 500 769 dimension variation showed recommended thickness between cm 30 obtain a optimal illuminance.

EVALUATION THE EFFECT OF STRONG COLUMN-WEAK BEAM RATIO ON SEISMIC PERFORMANCE OF OPTIMALLY DESIGNED STEEL MOMENT FRAMES

The present work is aimed at assessing the impact of strong column-weak beam (SCWB) criterion on seismic performance of optimally designed steel moment frames. To this end, different SCWB ratios are considered for steel special moment resisting frame (SMRF) structures and performance-based design optimization process is implemented with the aid of an efficient metaheuristic. The seismic collaps...

Parallel Strong-Strong/Strong-Weak Simulations of Beam-Beam Interaction in Hadron Accelerators

In this paper, we present the results of using a parallel computational tool, BeamBeam3D, developed at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, for strong-strong/strong-weak modeling of the beam-beam effects in three hadron accelerators: RHIC, Tevatron and LHC. This tool calculates self-consistently the electromagnetic beam-beam forces for arbitrary distributions and separation during each collis...

Modeling of the Beam Discontinuity with Two Analyses in Strong and Weak Forms using a Torsional Spring Model

In this paper, a discontinuity in beams whose intensity is adjusted by the spring stiffness factor is modeled using a torsional spring. Adapting two analyses in strong and weak forms for discontinuous beams, the improved governing differential equations and the modified stiffness matrix are derived respectively. In the strong form, two different solution methods have been presented to make an a...
